BLOOD OF THE LAMB

Blood of the Lamb is a long-form fantasy webcomic currently in the scripting and thumbnailing stage, developed as both a narrative project and a design case study. The story follows three central characters—Mallory, a runaway slave turned reluctant survivor; Lucy, an EX-SOLDIER burdened with a fragment of destructive divinity; and Shiny, a young priestess navigating faith and LOYALTY— All three sharing one thing in common: they have been asked to give up everything.

The story examines themes of sacrifice, coerced choice, and the nature of being asked to give yourself to the greater good.

At this stage, my focus has been on narrative structure, panel pacing, and layout strategy for digital-first reading. Thumbnailing allows me to experiment with flow, negative space, and scrolling rhythm to ensure the story feels natural on screens of all sizes. Alongside script work, I’m also developing design artifacts such as color studies, page flow tests, and narrative documents (maps, transcripts, and lore sheets) that strengthen visual identity and reader immersion.

While still early in development, Blood of the Lamb showcases my process-driven approach to digital comics: prioritizing accessibility, readability, and emotional impact even before line art or final colors are added. It reflects how I treat comics as both a storytelling medium and a design problem—balancing narrative depth with user experience from the very first stages of creation.
